The Princess appears in the Sydney Morning Herald

MONARCHISTS rejoice! Sydney does have a royal visitor after all.

Her Royal Highness, Princess Birgitta of Sweden and Hohenzollern, is in Sydney to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce.

But unlike the Queen's eight-day 2011 tour, the 74-year-old Princess is staying in Sydney for four days, carrying out a few formal tasks as well as visiting friends, taking a helicopter flight for the pure joy of it and getting in a round or two of golf.
